ksloan: Trade School @ Grand Opening, from http://ourgoods.org Tonight I attended “Business School for Artists” which is part of Trade School, a 30-day program created by Our Goods at Grand Opening on the Lower East Side. I took Doug to GO’s Drive-thru concept a few years ago for his birthday and it was really unique, as was this event. It was really interesting to get to learn about something I’m interested in from an expert, and instead of paying $$, being able to share some of my expertise in return. Unfortunately the next session is already booked, which is too bad because it was going to be a continuation of what was started tonight. Perhaps we’ll get lucky and they’ll continue the program after the 30 days. Oddly enough I ended up being interviewed about my experience by a Japanese TV crew. They were really nice. Should be interesting to see how it turns out.
